What is Flmodafinil or CRL-40,940 ?

This eugeroic (wakefulness enhancing agent) is related to Modafinil and Armodafinil. Both have similar effects, but Flmodafinil has much higher bioavailability, which is greater than even Armodafinil. In fact, it is a double fluoro derivative of Modafinil. Because it is a fluorinated analogue of Modafinil it was named Fluoromodafinil, or FLmodafinil. It is also known as Flodafinil.
